Face Crop Studio is a web-based application that provides AI-powered face detection and cropping capabilities for images. The Service allows users to:

  • Upload and process images locally in their browser
  • Automatically detect faces using AI technology
  • Crop images to various aspect ratios
  • Download processed images
  • Batch process multiple images

3. Privacy and Data Processing

Local Processing: All image processing is performed locally in your web browser using WebAssembly and Web Workers. Your images are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.

No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your images or personal information. The Service operates entirely within your browser.

Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand how the Service is used, but these do not track personal information or images.

Data Security: We try our best to keep your data safe, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We are not responsible for any data leaks or breaches that may occur.

GDPR Compliance: Since no personal data is collected or processed by our servers, the Service is inherently compliant with GDPR and other privacy regulations.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the right to use and process the images you upload
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service
  • Obtaining necessary consents for processing images containing identifiable individuals

  • The application was substantially developed using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Consequently, the software may contain errors, bugs, or inaccuracies. We check our best but mistakes can happen.

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights
  • Process images of minors without appropriate authorization
  • Create deepfakes or manipulated media intended to deceive
  • Engage in any automated or systematic data collection
  • Overload or interfere with the Service's operation

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services or websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of any third-party services.

We use third-party tools to manage our applications and services. You acknowledge that these third-party providers may potentially have access to data as part of their service provision.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Face Crop Studio, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
